When the electrical equipment has many functions, an indispensable electronic component is the AC cooling fan. AC cooling fan is a common axial flow fan (that is, a very common fan) to blow air downward. The reason why it is so popular is that it has good comprehensive effect and low cost. If the axial flow fan is in the opposite direction, it becomes a rising airflow, which is used in some special types of radiators. The difference between the two air supply modes lies in the different air flow forms. When the wind blows, it will generate turbulence and high wind pressure, but it is vulnerable to resistance loss. The draft produces laminar flow with low wind pressure and stable air flow. Theoretically, the heat dissipation efficiency of turbulence is far greater than that of laminar flow, so it has become the mainstream design form. Although axial flow fans are widely used, they also have inherent defects. The axial flow fan is blocked by the motor position, and the air flow cannot pass through the middle of the blowing zone smoothly, which is called "dead zone".

In order to save costs, manufacturers of DC cooling fans need to sacrifice certain air pressure to design fans with large air volume. If the fan can drive a large amount of air flow, but the wind pressure is small, the wind will not blow to the bottom of the radiator (this is why some fans have high speed and large air volume, but the heat dissipation effect is not good), on the contrary, the high wind pressure often means that the air volume is small, and there is not enough cold air to exchange heat with the radiator, which will also cause poor heat dissipation.
